About Hard Hat Insurance

Hard Hat Insurance is a marketing division of Bearstar Insurance Services, run by Jesus Galvan, a licensed commercial insurance broker who works only with construction businesses. Policies are placed through Bearstar, an independent agency in Irvine, California, and a member of the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA). That gives our clients access to standard carriers plus the specialty and E&S markets that write hard-to-place trades.

Jesus brings 16 years of customer service and sales experience, including 4 years in insurance working exclusively with contractors. Before partnering with Bearstar Insurance Services, he spent two years at one of the largest insurance brokerages serving contractors in all 50 states.

Where We Work

Jesus Galvan is licensed in California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Texas and Washington, and serves contractors in Arizona, Colorado and across the western United States. We Read the Exclusions

We learn your license, your work and what your general contractors require, then shop standard and specialty markets and read the exclusions before you sign. Most certificates of insurance go out the same day, and contractor bonds can be quoted instantly online.
