This Privacy Policy explains how Hard Hat Insurance, a marketing name used by Jesus A Galvan, a licensed insurance producer and broker partner at Bearstar Insurance Services, through which all coverage is placed, collects, uses, and protects your information on hardhatinsurance.net, by phone, and by text message.

1. Information we collect

• You give us: name, business name, phone number, email, mailing address, trade, state, payroll, revenue, claims history, FEIN, and other details needed to quote and service insurance.

• Automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring site, through cookies and analytics tools.

• From others: insurance companies, Bearstar Insurance Services, and public licensing records, when needed to quote or service your policy.

2. How we use it

To prepare quotes and applications, place and service your insurance, issue certificates, send renewal and payment reminders, answer your questions, improve the Site, and meet legal and regulatory requirements.

3. When we share information

We share information only as needed to provide the services you request:

• with insurance companies, wholesalers, and premium finance companies to obtain quotes and place coverage;

• with Bearstar Insurance Services, our agency of record;

• with service providers that support our operations (such as phone, CRM, and email systems), who may use it only to perform services for us;

• when required by law, regulation, or a state insurance department.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. SMS / text messaging privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and messaging platforms, is permitted. All other categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

The Site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
