1. Who we are

Hard Hat Insurance ("Hard Hat," "we," "us") is a marketing name used by Jesus A Galvan, a licensed insurance producer and broker partner at Bearstar Insurance Services. All insurance is placed through Bearstar Insurance Services, the agency of record. Producer licenses: California #4291921, Nevada #3874425, Oregon #20617222, Washington #1206881, Texas #2964780, and Idaho. By using hardhatinsurance.net (the "Site") or our text messaging program, you agree to these Terms.

2. No coverage until bound

Information on this Site is general and does not change the terms of any policy. Submitting a form or receiving a quote does not create coverage. Coverage begins only when an insurance company accepts your application and issues a binder or policy. Quotes depend on the accuracy of the information you provide and on carrier underwriting. Coverage availability varies by state.

3. Your information

You agree to give accurate and complete information when requesting a quote. Inaccurate information can affect pricing or result in a claim being denied. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

• Program name: Hard Hat Insurance SMS.

• What you'll receive: messages about your quote request, applications and documents we need, certificates of insurance, policy service, payment and renewal reminders, and occasional offers about contractor insurance coverage.

• How you opt in: by checking the SMS consent box on a form on this Site, by giving verbal consent on a call, or by texting us first. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

• Message frequency varies based on your account activity.

• Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

• To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You'll receive one confirmation and no further texts. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.

Calls with us may be recorded for quality, training, and record-keeping. We will tell you at the start of a recorded call.

You may use this Site only for lawful purposes. Site content, logos, and design belong to Hard Hat Insurance and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Links to third-party sites (including the Bond Exchange widget) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimer and limit of liability

The Site is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under your insurance policy or state insurance law.
